I finished reading Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr. I didn't like it. I loved the first book - loved the characters, the plot, the ending. Ink Exchange was depressing, which I ENJOY - I enjoy drama and tragedy and the idea of hopeless love. But you shouldnt go and END a book that way!
Ink Exchange made me lose all respect for Keenan, and I lost some level of respect for Aislynn. It angered me that Leslie forgave Irial after all he'd done, regardless of his intentions. It angered me that she told Niall to go away. My heart about broke in half feeling sorry for Niall because he's the one that lost EVERYTHING and then gained even more of a burden when Irial named him King.
Honestly, if I were Niall, I'd be damn near tempted to pass on the kingship to some random fairy and say to hell with it all.
....ok! :-D I just needed to get that out there. Sad endings always make me want to rant. Im hoping Fragile Eternity wont be so sorrowful.

"Just because you call an electric eel a rubber duck doesn't make it a rubber duck, does it? And God help the poor bastard who decides they want to take a bath with the duckie." - Jace Wayland, City of Bones.
Yeah, The Host is pretty awesome. I'd say I prefer it to the twilight series actually!
